Army Widow and Santa Maria resident Marguerite Van Coops was gifted two pairs of new shoes from the Cloverlane Foundation in honor of her 103rd Birthday. The shoes are from Pierce Footwear in Portland, OR. She received a pair early this year from Cloverlane and loved them. She commented that they were the most comfortable shoes she has ever worn and easy to put on. In addition to her many gifts, Marguerite also received a Certificate of Congratulations from Alice Patino, Mayor of the City of Santa Maria. Her milestone birthday was covered by local news station, KSBY. She was very appreciative of her family and friends who made her birthday special.
