Ronnie Imel Military Appreciation Day & Shoes

On Thursday, November 9th, the Hamilton Elementary School in Anza, CA sponsored Military Appreciation Day. The whole theme centered around Military Parents and Guests. Beginning with the National Anthem being sung along with other patriotic songs and music to the presentation of gifts to military guests, patriotism shined forth. Ronnie Imel, founder of the Veterans Paying It Forward in Mountain Center, CA and the Anza Veterans Group were invited as special guests.

Ronnie, with the help of the Anza Veterans Group gave out about 400 pairs of new athletic shoes to the students. He explained that the shoes were donated by the Cloverlane Foundation in Santa Ynez. Ronnie, who is on the Board of Governors of Cloverlane spoke about his organization and how veterans help each other. He and his fellow veterans were very honored to be a part of this special day. A big thank you to Hamilton Elementary School and their Bobcats students.
