The Cloverlane Foundation participated in the Santa Barbara County Veterans Stand Down held on Saturday, October 28th at the Santa Maria Fairpark. The event, in its eleventh year, offered hundreds of veterans everything from legal help and employment assistance to clothing and military duffle bags. More than 100 local providers, including nonprofits, pulled together resources for homeless and at-risk veterans. Haircuts, clothing, hygiene products and medical treatment were available. Veterinary care was also provided to veteran pets. Almost three hundred pairs of socks and boxer briefs purchased by Cloverlane were given to veterans. In addition, American Veterans United helped over three hundred veterans and their families with shoes also purchased by Cloverlane. Please thank our veterans and our brothers and sisters in the military for their service.
