The Cloverlane Foundation participated in the first 2025 Santa Maria Elks Veterans Appreciation/Mini Stand Down. It was held at the Elks Lodge #1538 on Thursday, March 20th. The foundation has given away free clothing to veterans for almost three years. The Elks event offers veterans assistance with benefits, resources, education, therapy service, clothing, housing and employment.

Over a dozen veteran organizations offer resources to ensure our veterans and their families get the help they need and deserve. In total there were over 140 in attendance, almost all of them veterans representing different branches of service. We gave away 264 pairs of men’s socks to needy veterans with help from the Santa Maria Elks Veterans Committee. Please thank our veterans and our brothers and sisters in the military for their service.
